Hours Later…

Hours later, the corpse of Samuel Nelson got up. It could neither see nor feel and it stumbled over other corpses. Feeling incredible and mindless hunger, it heard crackling glass, the unlucky sound of someone who had come to investigate the carnage. Samuel’s corpse went running after that bystander, who took off around the corner. As Samuel’s corpse rounded the corner, flailing its crooked and broken arms wildly while trying to run full speed, it smacked head on into a delivery truck that had been slowing to a stop. Samuel’s corpse collided with the truck and fell backward to the concrete. The driver approached the busted up corpse and wondered why it was reaching for his throat.
